About 35 to 40 minutes from Wesley Chapel

A wedding venue near Wesley Chapel with a hundred years on the new ones.

Wesley Chapel is new. Saxon Manor is not. The estate is about 30 miles north, I-75 to exit 301 and SR 50 west, 35 to 40 minutes, under oaks that were here before the interstate, with three venues and one all-inclusive price.

A wedding venue near Wesley Chapel with a hundred years on the new ones.

Is it worth the drive?

The case for Brooksville.

Wesley Chapel grew fast, and so did its event spaces: new construction, good parking, and rooms that photograph like new construction. Couples who want the opposite of that drive 40 minutes north to Brooksville. The estate is on a historic street in a town that predates Tampa’s suburbs by a century, and the photographs show it.

The practical case is the same one every Pasco couple makes. The Barn and the Garden Room hold up to 150, the BoHo holds 55, all three are climate controlled, and the number you sign is the whole wedding. Guests from Wesley Chapel, Lutz, and Land O’ Lakes are home within the hour.

Your other options

What Wesley Chapel couples tour instead.

Wesley Chapel itself has banquet rooms more than estates: the Venetian Event Center in New Tampa is the kind of draped ballroom that rents by the event. The venues couples drive to are the Barn at Crescent Lake in Odessa, an all-inclusive lakefront barn that markets itself as minutes from Wesley Chapel, Cypress Creek Event Venue on SR 52 in Land O’ Lakes, a rustic barn with packages from basic rental up to all-inclusive, and the rental barns around Dade City, Covington Farm and Barrington Hill. That is the choice: a ballroom, a barn you fill yourself, or an all-inclusive barn.

Saxon Manor is the third kind, with two differences worth checking. First, three venues on one property, so the ceremony, the reception, and the rain plan never depend on a single room. Second, the inclusion list: photographer and officiant are in our base price, which is not the norm among all-inclusive barns in Tampa Bay. The Barn here is $15,000 to $21,000 for up to 150 with everything listed on the What’s Included page.

One number

What the price covers.

The Barn and the Garden Room run $15,000 to $21,000 all-inclusive for up to 150 guests. The BoHo runs $9,500 to $12,500 for up to 55. Those numbers cover the ceremony site, the reception room, a coordinator, in-house chefs, bar and event staff, photographer, DJ, cake, and officiant. The full list is itemized here, and the pricing page explains where you land in the range. To see how that compares with other Florida venues, the all-inclusive comparison guide puts five side by side.

All three venues are climate controlled, and the rain plan moves your day indoors on the same estate at the same price. In Florida that is not a footnote.

Getting here

From Wesley Chapel to 103 S Saxon Ave.

From Wesley Chapel: I-75 north to exit 301, then SR 50 (Cortez Boulevard) west into Brooksville. Calculators put it at 26 to 33 miles and 37 to 38 minutes depending on where in Wesley Chapel you start. We are in downtown Brooksville, 45 minutes from Tampa and 90 from Orlando.

Parking is on site. Ceremony and reception are on the same grounds, so nobody drives between them. The guest planning page covers accessibility, dietary needs, and timing for people driving home in the dark.

For family staying over, the hotel cluster at I-75 exit 301 on Cortez Boulevard (a Hampton Inn, a Holiday Inn Express, a Quality Inn, and a Microtel, ten to eleven miles east of the estate) is the one to block for guests arriving on I-75. Your coordinator sends current rates for your date.

Before you ask

The questions couples from here ask first.

How far is Saxon Manor from Wesley Chapel?

About 30 miles and 35 to 40 minutes by car: I-75 north to exit 301, then SR 50 west into Brooksville. Parking is on site and the ceremony and reception are on the same grounds.

How much does a wedding at Saxon Manor cost?

The Barn and the Garden Room run $15,000 to $21,000 all-inclusive for up to 150 guests. The BoHo runs $9,500 to $12,500 for up to 55. Where you land depends on guest count and date, and you get your exact number on the tour.

What happens if it rains?

Your day moves indoors on the same estate at the same price. All three venues are climate controlled and your coordinator makes the call while you are getting ready.

Where to go to get married in Florida?

Florida gives you four kinds of place: the Gulf and Atlantic beaches, the Keys, the Orlando resorts, and the inland estates and ranches north of Tampa. The beaches and resorts price by the plate and depend on the weather; the inland venues are where all-inclusive packages and climate-controlled rooms live. Saxon Manor is one of those, in Brooksville, 45 minutes from Tampa, with three venues on one estate and published prices from $9,500 to $21,000.

Are barn weddings more expensive?

Not by themselves; the pricing model is what moves the total. A barn rental around Dade City lists a site fee of about $8,000 to $11,000, and catering, bar, photographer, DJ, cake, officiant, and coordination are separate contracts on top. An all-inclusive barn package in Tampa Bay runs about $15,000 to $30,000 for 100 to 150 guests with most of those inside it. The Barn at Saxon Manor is $15,000 to $21,000 for up to 150 with all of them included.
