Hernando County, about 20 minutes from Spring Hill

A wedding venue near Spring Hill that your guests can drive home from.

Spring Hill is the nearest town to the estate: about 12 miles east on Cortez Boulevard, 20 minutes on a normal day. Most of your guest list already lives within half an hour, which means no hotel block, no shuttle, and a reception that runs to the end.

Is it worth the drive?

The case for Brooksville.

Spring Hill couples are the ones most likely to have driven past us. The estate sits on S Saxon Ave in downtown Brooksville, a straight run east on Cortez Boulevard. It is a home game for your guests: they know the roads, they know where the gas stations are, and they can leave when the music stops instead of when the shuttle does.

What Spring Hill does not have is a private estate with three climate-controlled venues on one property and one all-inclusive price. Most of what is nearer to US-19 is a room you rent and fill. Here the room is the smaller part of what is already included.

Your other options

The other venues Spring Hill couples tour.

Within 20 minutes of Spring Hill you will also find Legacy Lane Weddings and La Hacienda on Snow Hill, both in Brooksville, GlenLakes Country Club in Brooksville, and the Waterfall Ballroom in Spring Hill itself. They are different answers to different questions: a country club for a club setting, a ballroom for a ballroom, a ranch property for acreage. Tour whichever fit; we would rather you compared.

What you are comparing is the model. At most venues the number on the first quote is the space, and catering, bar, photographer, DJ, cake, officiant, and a coordinator are seven more conversations. At Saxon Manor they are already in the number, and the team has worked this estate together every weekend for years. Ask every venue for its inclusion list in writing, then put the totals side by side.

One number

What the price covers.

The Barn and the Garden Room run $15,000 to $21,000 all-inclusive for up to 150 guests. The BoHo runs $9,500 to $12,500 for up to 55. Those numbers cover the ceremony site, the reception room, a coordinator, in-house chefs, bar and event staff, photographer, DJ, cake, and officiant. The full list is itemized here, and the pricing page explains where you land in the range. To see how that compares with other Florida venues, the all-inclusive comparison guide puts five side by side.

All three venues are climate controlled, and the rain plan moves your day indoors on the same estate at the same price. In Florida that is not a footnote.

Getting here

From Spring Hill to 103 S Saxon Ave.

From Spring Hill: Cortez Boulevard (SR 50) east into downtown Brooksville, about 12 miles and 20 minutes. Distance calculators put it at 19 to 21 minutes; Saturday afternoon traffic on Cortez near the Suncoast Parkway adds a few. We are in downtown Brooksville, 45 minutes from Tampa and 90 from Orlando.

Parking is on site. Ceremony and reception are on the same grounds, so nobody drives between them. The guest planning page covers accessibility, dietary needs, and timing for people driving home in the dark.

For family staying over, the two hotels at the Suncoast Parkway and Cortez Boulevard interchange (a Holiday Inn Express and a Fairfield Inn, about eight miles west of the estate) are the ones to block for guests arriving from the west and south. Your coordinator sends current rates for your date.

Before you ask

The questions couples from here ask first.

Do we need a hotel block for a Spring Hill wedding at Saxon Manor?

Usually not. Most Spring Hill guests are 15 to 30 minutes from the estate and drive home. For out-of-town family, the Holiday Inn Express and Fairfield Inn at the Suncoast Parkway and Cortez Boulevard are about eight miles from the estate; your coordinator sends current rates.

How much does a wedding at Saxon Manor cost?

The Barn and the Garden Room run $15,000 to $21,000 all-inclusive for up to 150 guests. The BoHo runs $9,500 to $12,500 for up to 55. Where you land depends on guest count and date, and you get your exact number on the tour.

What happens if it rains?

Your day moves indoors on the same estate at the same price. All three venues are climate controlled and your coordinator makes the call while you are getting ready.

Where to go to get married in Florida?

Florida gives you four kinds of place: the Gulf and Atlantic beaches, the Keys, the Orlando resorts, and the inland estates and ranches north of Tampa. The beaches and resorts price by the plate and depend on the weather; the inland venues are where all-inclusive packages and climate-controlled rooms live. Saxon Manor is one of those, in Brooksville, 45 minutes from Tampa, with three venues on one estate and published prices from $9,500 to $21,000.

Is $5000 enough for a wedding?

For a courthouse or backyard wedding with a meal afterward, it can be. It is not enough for a venue with a team: in Tampa Bay the least expensive all-inclusive package we know of is Saxon Manor’s BoHo at $9,500 for up to 55 guests, and a venue rental alone around here starts near $8,000 before vendors.

What is the cheapest place to have a wedding?

A courthouse ceremony, then a home or restaurant. Among venues, the cheapest option is usually the smallest room on a less-requested date. At Saxon Manor that is the BoHo, $9,500 to $12,500 all-inclusive for up to 55 guests, on a Friday, Sunday, or weekday.
